  • 0.5 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 0.5 cup molasses
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 0.25 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts or pecans optional

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: Prepare the muffin tin by lining it with paper liners or greasing it with non-stick spray.
  3. Step 3: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
