- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved baby potatoes with melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Step 3: Grease your baking dish and transfer the coated potatoes into the dish, spreading them out evenly.
- Step 4: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Step 5: Once the potatoes are done, stir in the sour cream, bacon bits, and half of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix thoroughly.
- Step 6: Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top and add chopped green onions.
- Step 7: Return the dish to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Step 8: Let the dish sit for a couple of minutes before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
