  • 30 oz frozen hash browns thawed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika optional

Method
 

  1. Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, combine thawed hash browns, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, chopped onion, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
  3. Step 3: Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly.
  4. Step 4: Bake in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, until golden brown on top.
  5. Step 5: Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

This casserole can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator. It reheats well.
