- Step 1: Cook the rotini pasta by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rotini pasta and cook according to the package instructions, usually about 8-10 minutes until al dente. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Step 2: Once the pasta is cooked, drain it in a colander. Rinse the pasta under cold water to stop the cooking process and cool it down.
- Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled rotini pasta, diced chicken, halved cherry tomatoes, and chopped romaine lettuce.
- Step 4: Pour the Caesar dressing over the pasta and other ingredients. Using a wooden spoon or spatula, gently toss everything together until well coated.
- Step 5: Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Step 6: Just before serving, sprinkle the croutons over the top for crunch and garnish with chopped parsley.
- Step 7: Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to an hour to allow flavors to meld together.
Notes
This salad can be made ahead of time. Store in the refrigerator and add croutons just before serving to maintain their crunch.
