Method
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Grease your 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
- Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
- Step 4: Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the mixture. Stir until smooth.
- Step 5: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Step 6: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Step 7: Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Step 8: In a medium bowl, mix the creamy peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls over the brownie batter and swirl gently with a knife.
- Step 9: Sprinkle the remaining semi-sweet chocolate chips on top.
- Step 10: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Step 11: Allow the blondies to cool in the pan before cutting into squares.
