- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- Step 3: In a medium bowl, combine grated zucchini, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Step 4: In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon.
- Step 5: Add granulated sugar and brown sugar to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Step 6: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Step 7: Fold in chocolate chips gently.
- Step 8: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Step 9: Bake for 50-60 minutes. A toothpick inserted should come out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
- Step 10: Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store the bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days. You can also freeze it for up to three months.
