- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, dried basil, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined.
- Step 3: Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
- Step 4: Spread the garlic herb butter mixture evenly on both halves of the bread.
- Step 5: Layer the sliced pepperoni generously over the buttered bread halves.
- Step 6: Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, spreading it evenly.
- Step 7: Place the prepared bread halves on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Step 8: Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, garnish with chopped parsley, slice, and enjoy!
