Ingredients
  

For the Cowboy Butter Sauce
  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh chives chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • pinch cayenne pepper optional

Method
 

  1. Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped chives, lemon juice, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using). Use a spatula or wooden spoon to mix until well incorporated.
  2. Step 2: Transfer the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap or parchment paper. Shape the butter mixture into a log and wrap it tightly.
  3. Step 3: Place the log in the refrigerator to chill until firm, approximately 1-2 hours.
  4. Step 4: Once chilled, slice the butter into rounds and serve on top of grilled steak or other meats.

Notes

Store leftover cowboy butter in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze it for longer shelf life.
