Ingredients

For the Juicy Steak
  • 2 steaks ribeye about 1 inch thick
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
For the Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Equipment

  • Cast Iron Skillet or Heavy Pan
  • Tongs
  • Meat thermometer
  • Whisk
  • Chopping Board
  • Chef’s Knife
  • Serving Platter

Method

  1. Step 1: Season the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. The oil should shimmer but not smoke.
  3. Step 3: Once the skillet is hot, add the seasoned steaks. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting the time according to your preferred doneness.
  4. Step 4: Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for about 5 minutes.
  5. Step 5: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Step 6: Stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Step 7: Return the steaks to the skillet, spoon the sauce over them, and cook for an additional minute to heat through.
  8. Step 8: Plate the steaks, drizzle with creamy garlic sauce, and garnish with chopped parsley.
