- Step 1: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 cup of milk, 1/4 cup of pure maple syrup, and 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree. Use a whisk to blend everything together until smooth.
- Step 2: Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture frequently to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan. Heat until the mixture is warm but not boiling.
- Step 3: Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger, and a pinch of salt. Mix well until everything is fully incorporated.
- Step 4: Allow the creamer to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a sealed container and refrigerate. It’s best to let it chill for at least a few hours.
- Step 5: Before using, give the container a good shake to recombine the ingredients. Pour the desired amount into your coffee, and enjoy!
Notes
For a thicker creamer, consider using half-and-half instead of milk. Experiment with additional spices like cloves or allspice for a more complex flavor profile.
