  • 1 cup water

  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves

Equipment

  • Fine mesh sieve
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Stirring spoon
  • Serving glasses

Method

  1. Step 1: In a medium saucepan, combine the chopped rhubarb, water, and sugar. Set the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a boil. Stir occasionally to ensure the sugar dissolves completely.

  3. Step 3: After simmering, remove the saucepan from heat and allow the mixture to cool. Then, use a fine mesh sieve to strain the mixture into a bowl or pitcher.
  4. Step 4: Stir in the rosewater into the strained rhubarb liquid. Taste and adjust as needed.
  5. Step 5: To serve, fill serving glasses with ice cubes, pour approximately 1/4 cup of the rhubarb mixture into each glass, and top with club soda.
  6. Step 6: Garnish each glass with fresh mint leaves and serve immediately.
