Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup milk whole or your preferred type
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Pinch salt

Equipment

  • Medium saucepan
  • Whisk
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Heatproof container
  • Funnel

Method

  1. Step 1: In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, pumpkin puree, and maple syrup. Using a whisk, mix the ingredients until they are well blended.
  2. Step 2: Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture occasionally to prevent it from sticking to the bottom. Heat until it is warm, but do not let it boil.
  3. Step 3: Once the mixture is warm, remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Step 4: Allow the creamer to cool to room temperature. Then, carefully transfer the creamer into a clean, airtight container using a funnel.
  5. Step 5: Store the creamer in the refrigerator for up to one week. Shake well before use.

Notes

To enhance the flavor even more, consider using organic pumpkin puree and high-quality maple syrup. If you find the creamer too thick for your preference, feel free to add more milk until you reach your desired consistency.
